Forest Lakes
Forest Lakes is a beautiful subdivision located in northern Colorado Springs.
Located just 5 minutes west of I-25 off Baptist road, this beautiful area features two lakes, parks, and a “base of the mountains” feel. This development is currently a Classic Homes development. They are the only builder currently building there (changes are coming). This is a master-planned community. The homes that have mountain views, views of open space, or back to the lakes carry a hefty premium price on them.
The development has a typical, tightly-packed feeling with open space close by. Even though it is located north, it is an easy commute on I-25, heading either north or south. The area is a bit higher in elevation and does get a little more snow than the Springs, so there could be days with a later start to work or other activities. This development is very close to shopping and some great hiking trails.
